Data centers are projected to consume up to 17% of Data centers are projected to consume up to 17% of U.S. electricity by 2030. Is the infrastructure ready? Data centers require a massive amount of energy, and our current power infrastructure is playing catch-up. Experts forecast that U.S. data centers could consume nearly 17% of the nation’s electricity within the next five years. At Grade Tech, we are focusing on the high-stakes substation and civil work required to power this boom. The project in Box Elder County is just the beginning. We are actively recruiting drivers, operators, and laborers to join our crew as we meet this surge. Come build your future with the best yellow iron in the business.

Today, we are incredibly proud to celebrate a majo Today, we are incredibly proud to celebrate a major milestone: Joe is celebrating 5 years with the Grade Tech team! Joe, thank you for your hard work, dedication, and everything you’ve contributed to our crew. You help keep us moving forward every single day.
To honor Joe’s milestone, Grade Tech is making a $1,000 donation to the Angel Hands Foundation on his behalf.
Angel Hands is an amazing local non-profit dedicated to supporting individuals and families in our community who are navigating rare diseases. This cause is incredibly close to Joe’s heart—he used to lace up his skates and hit the ice for their annual charity hockey tournament!
We love being able to support the organizations that matter most to our team members. Please join us in thanking Joe for 5 great years and wishing him many more to come!

While our team puts the finishing touches on the f While our team puts the finishing touches on the full feature video, here is a quick look at first two next-generation, completely redesigned Cat 140 LVR lever motor graders in action.

There is a lot of buzz about the Centennial Gray appearance, but the custom paint job from the team at Wheeler Machinery Co is just a fun milestone customization. The real story is what is under the hood.

Cat engineered this model from the ground up to bring back the traditional steering wheel and mechanical lever logic that heavy civil operators prefer for ultimate precision. They fused the muscle of the proven 140M platform with advanced operator visibility, a low-maintenance sealed circle bearing design, and deeply integrated 3D GPS machine control.

At Grade Tech, choosing lever controls comes down to personal preference and operational precision. We are deploying the most advanced, exclusive iron in the dirt world to deliver technical accuracy for our clients.

Stay tuned for the full feature video dropping next month.

In towns like Kemmerer, the race is on. With the T In towns like Kemmerer, the race is on. With the TerraPower nuclear plant on a fast track, the challenge facing the industry isn’t just the reactor itself, it is the massive infrastructure ecosystem required to support it. The Nuclear Renaissance is no longer a concept; it is a construction reality.
This shift toward Small Modular Reactors (SMRs) and high-output clean energy represents the most significant change in the Western power landscape in decades. However, a reactor is only as effective as the civil infrastructure that connects it to the world.
Grade Tech is the foundation for the next generation of energy. As SMRs go live, we provide the substation and site expertise to make that power mobile and reliable.

First job, first deployment, history in the making First job, first deployment, history in the making.
Billy putting No. 301, one of the first limited-edition Centennial Gray Cat motor graders in the world, to work on its very first job site.

This machine throws it back to Caterpillar’s original 1925 gray paint scheme and classic red logo, but under the hood, it is pure modern production. Billy is utilizing the classic box style cab and precision piano key controls to deliver the exact technical accuracy our utility infrastructure clients expect.

Stay tuned for our full feature video!
