Scope of Work: This expansion project, which involved building a 52-acre, 525-kilovolt addition to the existing substation, included large dirt spread, preparation of multiple slab foundations and the installation of 15,000+ linear feet of storm drainpipe, ditches, cable trench, and an oil containment system. Utilizing our new mobile batch plant, which was set up onsite, we supplied thousands of yards of concrete for the project. Having the mobile batch plant, which can provide up to 1,000 cubic yards per day, allowed us to respond within an hour or less to contractor pour requests.
Unique Problem:
Throughout the project, we encountered ongoing road maintenance with traffic from multiple contractors and material delivery trucks.
