Rory Hall attended World of Concrete® 2022, the only international construction event dedicated to the commercial concrete and masonry industries. The event, which typically hosts more than 60,000 industry professionals, is taking place January 18-20 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Nevada.
Rory was invited to attend World of Concrete by CAS, longtime business partners of Grade Tech and the manufacturers of CAS Slingers, the specialty trucks we use to accurately place gravel under concrete. CAS is launching a new model of their Slinger at the show.
Rory explains that the show is an opportunity to meet with others who use the Slinger equipment as well as a chance to see the newest tools, trucks, and other equipment on the market. “I was excited to go to the concrete show to learn about the newest machinery and technology that can help us serve our customers,” Rory explained. “It also gave me a chance to talk shop with others in the Slinger community and to see the new Slinger that is being introduced.”
Aside from his interest in the Slingers, Rory is particularly interested in learning more about mobile concrete batch plants – portable, cost-effective concrete mixers that can be transported to job sites to produce concrete.
World of Concrete 2022 includes 1,500 exhibiting companies and occupies more than 700,000 square feet of exhibit space. The 4-day event features new products, equipment, machinery, and supplies from the world’s leading manufacturers as well as cutting-edge technologies and in-depth training and certifications. The show also includes special events, demos, forums, and competitions.
