Project Type: Substation Expansion
Scope of Work: This project included the expansion of a 345 kV substation, energizing a third transformer, interconnecting that third transformer to the new 161 kV expansion, and expanding and reconfiguring the existing 161 kV yard. This project was a large upgrade to a critical substation that included substantial excavation removal, new installation of aggregates, foundations, fencing and yard finishes. The majority of this project was completed during peak winter months in South-Eastern Idaho.
