Grade Tech is proud to announce that we are a platinum sponsor for the upcoming American Eagle Ready Mix Charity Golf Tournament to benefit Operation Pay It Forward (OPIF), a non-profit organization that helps American veterans heal from their physical and mental wounds while providing a new purpose and mission for their civilian lives. The tournament will be held on Friday, April 22 at Talons Cove in Saratoga Springs and will be followed by OPIF’s 6th Annual Fund-Raising Banquet the next evening at the Loveland Living Aquarium in Draper.

Rory Hall, Chief Operating Officer and Co-founder of Grade Tech, feels that organizations like Operation Pay It Forward are crucial to helping veterans re-acclimate after returning from combat. “There is nothing more important than supporting the brave men and women that have served our country and provided the freedom we enjoy,” he said. “When our soldiers return, they need to find a way to get back into life—and figure out how to start enjoying life again. Organizations like OPIF provide a life line for these veterans and we couldn’t be more honored to support them.”

The annual golf tournament and fund-raising banquet are major sources of funding for OPIF, with 100% of the proceeds going directly toward improving the lives of veterans. In addition to funding the program, the tournament and the banquet will give supporters the opportunity to meet and chat with OPIF’s veteran Ambassadors.

The golf tournament will feature an 18-hole round robin with lunch on the course followed by a BBQ, open bar, and helicopter ball drop. The banquet on the following night will include cocktails, dinner and both silent and live auctions as well as aquarium tours. As a platinum sponsor, Grade Tech will have a table of 10 at the banquet.

OPIF was founded and is run by veterans to help their fellow service members overcome the physical and mental injuries they sustained while serving our country. The organization is based on the belief that our returning veterans are not charity cases that need pity; rather they are warriors and patriots that deserve our appreciation and help developing a healthy passion for the outdoors and the camaraderie and brotherhood that comes with it.

On behalf of everyone at GradeTech, we salute each and every service member that has served or is currently serving our great country. You are true American heroes!
