We appreciate all of those who get a college degree and keep other parts of our society running, so why is it so difficult to appreciate the trade mentality where we just want to get to work, outdoors, working with our hands, out of an office, and out of debt?

We need to give our young people the chance to make their own choices…to pave their own paths to success without being pushed onto one path.

Gabriella Velasquez, Assistant Office Manager for Grade Tech, is celebrating 3 years with the company!

In honor of Gabi’s dedication and contribution to the company’s success, Grade Tech is donating $1,000 to Gabi’s charity of choice—Utah Volunteers of America’s Homeless Youth Services.

The group provides several programs for homeless and at-risk youth and young adults, including those who experience mental illness.

She recently earned her degree as a Diesel Mechanic from Salt Lake Community College and hopes to eventually be out in the field working with the equipment.

David Barlow is celebrating two years on the job!

David got an early start in the construction industry, framing houses in Southern Utah when he was just nine years old.

Watching his mom and dad run their company made David want to learn how to successfully run a company, and he brings that desire to his position at Grade Tech.

He has a lot of varied experience and is always willing to learn new things on the job—that’s what makes him so successful at such a young age.
